steve mk2 Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 because i work at waitrose i get a bonus in march so i have a dilema on wat to spend it on.... do i A.... buy stiff springs stiff adjustable shocks polly bushes remove vinal and get the roof painted and my grey recarros re upholstered in black to suit interior and some new 6 by 9 speakers.......... or B.......... get roof painted and get a 2ltr pinto fitted with just a twin carb. and if i have any money left i can spend it on springs and stuff???? how much will a pinto set me back????? just standard with a twincarb and fitted in my car....???

Hi Vista, oh yeah granted it'll cost more than the cost of the car but he was gonna buy a Pinto anyway, you'd pay more than £200 for a decent engine and still have to buy all the RS2k bits and bobs... G.S. Escorts will do all the bits for a reasonable price... I think sump and pickup pipe = £140, Ashley Exhaust £180 with manifold, Mounts £30, not sure about big header rad with fan though
