But I don't think I'll be around much longer

This morning I put my headlamp bowls and a few other bits and pieces in the dishwasher to clean them up before painting. Excellent labour saving device I thought when they came out shiny and clean

Unbeknownst to me was that under all the dirt on the headlamp bowls was a thick layer of ziebart. I know this because I can see faint traces of it left in the nooks and crannies on the bowls. The ziebart removed is now spread liberally through the inner workings of the dishwasher!

On the upside, all our pots pans cutlery and crockery are now nicely rust proofed after this evenings trip through what may have to be reclassified as a parts washer :mrgreen:

 No, I've asked to be buried in it. My intention is to get my money's worth out of them grave diggers as they'll have to dig a F.O. big hole for that eh?

oh dear  what did the mrs say then?

I'm a lucky guy in that respect, she just shrugged and said "if it cleans up it cleans up, if it doesn't, we'll replace it"

Result indeed  In fact, the precedent set, I think I shall put some more parts in it this morning

Even I'm not brave enough to put them in at the same time as the dishes though.
