V8ian Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 Well chaps, after talking to my specialist today about my recent brain injury, he has put serious doubts in my mind about my ability to drive my Mk2 in the way it deserves to be driven, especially as it is quite brutal when given serious welly, well capable of running mid 12s at santapod, and driven home again, Just gauging interest really, price has not come to mind, sad day really, it wont be cheap, but will come with all spares I have for it, 6ta5Ke6Xrho

petrolhead Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 This is a legendary car in my mind. I've always admired it. If you are able to drive, then keep it and just drive it leisurely, life is not a rush
puddy Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Bloody hell mate, hope you are well . Don't rush in to selling it, deffo a part of you puddy
deltamal Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Sorry to hear about your problems Ian, it's a hard decision having to give the racing up and make lifestyle changes, I've had to make similar decisions with the hip problems, it dislocated again on Sunday so prob a 4th op on the way, life's a bitch at times, just make sure you keep posting on the site, don't want to loose touch with good mates! as an afterthought, I'm replacing the Cossie (drag racing) engine with a 2.9 V6 Cologne so the Corty is a cruiser not a racer! so that the car and I will still be around....
herb capri Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 keep it im sure there are many who will drive you ! ive seen it run ,now you can!!!!
