any comments welcombe, made a decision to make a move, been there, done that. not sure what i'll get next time but had great fun on here, great lads.

 

just not getting to use the car any more and i can't stand to look at in stuck in the garage any more:-(

Sad to say ive just sold my White 2.8 Ghia Granny and im in the process of finishing the 2.8i thats been off the road a few months ,theres a lot of interest in these rare models even with the recession . Cant any point having loads of cars anymore ,i never get to drive them much and lately never have any dosh to spend on them .

New Year and a clearout in order ,and i want my Mk1 Cortina done ,normally i would be able to find the money over time ,but weve been skint for a while and i recently sold my T5 van to fund my Dj business so as needs must .

Ive seen a few other forum members selling up ,i presume the same too much dosh tied up in a luxery item that we cant really afford.

Just got back from the garage, sat in her for a while just tickin over.

 

It's the car a always wanted as a kid, kit, wheels, fast but now i've done it i think i need something else.

 

i really don't get out in her as much as i should, and as above works been crap for a while and i can't spare any cash to nice things for her.

 

she does like me spending money on her like any girl lol. gonna get round other garage and go through my parts and have a clear out there too.

 

i've got a couple of 2.1's and the 2.4 i started a re-build on, spare x pack parts, will get a proper list up soon

Well looks like i'm keepin thr RS a little longer.

 

only managed £9600, set reserve to 10k, thought that was a realistic price, obviously not.

 

looking at gettin the 2.4 back in her and a nice gearbox so i can do a few track days & the strip (i'm still a track virgin)

 

must admit i went out for a little drive last night and gave it death lol, bloody good fun

 

rear tyres are slightly more worn than before

Thats a sign that mate even him upstairs thinks you should keep her Dont sell you will regret it forever, i left mine at bodyshop an i was gutted Me missus said was like i had lost me best mate Go 2.4 and enjoy !!!
