bloody monkeys

took a day off work today and took the kids to longleat animal park.

so glad i didnt take the osf. took my toyota people carrier instead.

driving through the safari park, the monkeys were all over the car, trying to see what they could rip off and theive.

one started playing with the washer jets (about 2" long on these vehicles), and trying to rip it off.

what did i do? squirt him, thats what.

big mistake. it then became his mission to remove it, with me trying to soak him into submission. got a squirt in his ear, eye, and generally soaked the little bugger.

did he get it? YES he did. not content with just the jet, he also ripped the tubing out as well.

while he was doing this, his mate was trying to remove the side trim!

 

i was tempted to switch the wipers on, just to have the satisfaction of seeing his little cheeks being dragged across the front screen.

 

all this, while the kids were laughing and saying aaahhhhh!

 

bloody monkeys (animals, not the kids).

i remember when we went a few years ago the little sods pulled one of my wiper blades off luckely it was a nice sunny day if it had been raining i would have been fooked

reminds me of a trip to a safari park in majorca, we had a white fiat panda hire car and the monkeys loved it, shame they were on the blob

 

and no it didnt get washed before we returned it

you all laugh but its just one big plan to build a kit car and escape, the last time i went one of the monkeys had a list.

pmsl I took my dads car to Longleat told him I wouldn't go in the monkey bit so what do I do go through it. They ripped the back jet washer off

 

He has never let me forget that wonder if he would let me borrow the car again
