Admin Mk2Jo Posted June 3, 2013 Admin Report Posted June 3, 2013 I think we are all in agreement that Classic Ford 10th Anniversary Show was cracking but what was the best bit of the show for you? I may be a bit biased but I thought the layout of our Club Stand (well done to the parking guys) and the competitive racing shown by our OSFDC racers was the best for me What was the best bit for you? Photos of the best bits if you have them will be very welcome too
CHEVY Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 Was a great day and i agree the club stand was cool. The motor that really caught my eye was the "grim reaper" Mk1 Transit tilt and slide recovery truck,wow that truck is so nice,anyone got a pic of this please? 1
Savvi Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 Just being there and being part of the show for me, great day out took the kids and they loved it, even tho they had to have a siesta in the afternoon, hence the camper window blinds being shut just after lunch

Anyway best bit for me was the osf stand. Blew the other displays into a cocked hat. Proud to have been a part of it! Was there an award for best stand this year?
frankthefencer Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 I had a great time. My highlight was taking my mk1 up the strip !!! Loved it!!!! If I can have a second highlight it would be James Harris and Harry Goulding burning out at the start when they were up against each other. Just awesome.

No mike we weren’t aloud to win it as it would of been unfair on the other clubs so we were off the list . Highlight for me was walking around the stand looking at some of the best osf’s in the country thinking osf kick arse here lol. 8

It was lovely to just lay back and listen to it all. Oh an the convoy home blasting down the motorway showing posers in their convertible "sports cars" what for ykt 2
aden Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 Highlight for me was getting a jealous stare from a Porsche boxster driver when I had just destroyed him off the lights in Bedford hahaha, top weekend oldskoolford sure did have the best stand by far!!! 2

He had the roof down, a blonde in the passenger seat an was tailing everything so dropped a gear an we gunned it. He wernt impressed when I sat on his bumper for a couple of miles an pulled in as I went past laughing 1
