I saw a vid of a GSXR1000 engined Smart car beating a ferrari on the dragstrip yesterday but nowhere near as cool as that Fiat.

The 955i is a good motor sounds the biz with a nice open end can. but i think he would have been better off with a busa lump to really show up the skylines etc

looks awesome tho, the one in retro cars is awesome too! rear engined fiat 500, on the outside you really would never know, till it goes past at 14,000rpm.

I found the copy of Street Machine from about 92 with that reliant in. I was well surpeised was at the end of my road and looked back cos I headr a V8 and it was a iat 500 that was in Street Machine years back. Damn that took off but looked odd (the guy was sat where the back seat should be, cos the chevy engine was where the fronts were!

I stumbled on that kitten site a couple of months back and there is some awsome reding covering the build up from finding the advert in the local paper to the street machine feature awsome reading by two very talented brothers
