RFChris Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 ,,,,found yourself thinking about your old motors and the thinking about one in particular.....and wishing..... THAT. YOU. NEVER. SOLD. IT! I know its in good hands now (OSF Member: Dealy) But still, just clearing out my old pc and found all the pics. Sigh. ...my Cortina better be good. It has some big silver boots to fill! But anyway, what were your 'cars that got away' so to speak.... Discuss!
johnny_h Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 I wish I kept my mk1 fezza. I don't even know what I did with it O_o
Wessie Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 luckily i've never had to sell any of my cars but my mk1 capri might be for sale shortly due to a possible new project . . .

orionmojo Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 i nearly scrapped my orion, then it started straight off after standing for three months, so i put it back together i know it doesn't elp you, but i did like that car, looked really purposeful and not a trailer queen
bomber1 Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 gutted i sold my mini van 1st car on the road as well the twat that brought it off me buggerd the clutch then scraped it
Admin Vista Posted February 10, 2007 Admin Report Posted February 10, 2007 I wish I'd never sold these two, the 2.8i was a mint 45000 miler when I sold her in 96 and the GXL was years of painstaking work and cost. Sold at a huge loss too I had the chance of buying the 2.8i back last year but it had turned into a 125000 mile dog so I didn't bother. The GXL I'd buy back tomorrow if I could track it down (what was I thinking!! )
Bristol Red Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 Yeah my Cortina 2.0 Ghia which was my pride & joy but had to go to fund my Capri. Did loads of work to it and was very sad to see it go Sold to a good owner though who sold it on himself after a year of re-living his youth! Present owner has it on his website http://www.sarkiesparkingspace.co.uk/ Here's one of the pics I used on Auotrader
