lurch914 Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 Was running Ok started playing up then wouldn't start getting a spark from the coil but not from distributor cap there's a small crack in the cap ordered one from Burton on Monday still not here yet, it's got to be cap or rotor arm if I'm getting spark from coil well that's what my heads saying

texr2000 Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 Wish i was going this year, couldn't get the day off work last year, managed to get to Retro Car show though. Classic Ford 2015 better be dry and better than ever! Was looking forward to seeing if its changed this year after reading about the cut down on pre 90's stuff. Being on here and Retards Club seems to many newly restored cars im surprised the show isnt overflowing with OSF's and no room room for Focus RS's
texr2000 Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 And There Best Be a Huge Turn Out Next Year As Planning To Do A Make Over On My Mk1 2015/16 Winter And Need Inspiration 1
PaulMags Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 I hope i can make it to this event have another problem to sort out on my motor. 1
mk2 mike Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 don't clean it leave it shitty like the rest of the line up lol Oh its shitty anyway with dents scratches and marks At least it'll be shitty and clean!
RossMK2 Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 How things change overnight Went out this morning to do oil change, noticed a small oil leak from front crank seal, upon closer inspection found the seal was hanging out. The burton one peice pulley has rusted over winter and when i started it for the first time after winter, must of ripped seal out of front cover. Luckily i had a spare one in the shed. So i stripped it all down and replaced it. All back together and ready to go.
Monkfish Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 I've got an axle to collect and then fit and I'll be good to go. Oh, and could probably use a new tank strap to replace that ratchet strap while I'm under there...
mikehunt Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 just need my ticket delivering then im good to go got my aa membership in place as we all know old fords are not the most reliable cars in the world lol
