Which Gearknob??

I fitted my 2000E box in the van yesterday. The box that was in belongs to Anglia66 and is fitted with a quickshift and has a gorgeous machined gearknob. It has a qualty weighty feel to it.

 

The stick that's now in is standard anglia, with the little plastic ball on the end.

 

Should I:

 

1. Keep the plastic ball?

 

2. Fit a pool ball gearknob?

 

3. Fit a chrome skull gearknob?

 

4. Fit something else (Suggestions please).

I have in my possesion, a genuine 8-ball. You can have it. It'll need drilling though as its still "game ready" but if you want it, its yours!

Go with the 8 ball in my opinion, but of all the options, the skull is a definite no no!

 

But then again, I had a cow print pattern interior to my MK 3 Cortina so maybe I'm not the best person to give advice on style or taste!

I bought the quickshift from Tony Thompson Racing and it came with a Lotus alloy knob on it which I removed and replaced with the alloy ball you like so much.I bought that from a Hot Rod show so it probably came from Pop Browns or maybe Duksville Speed Shop.

We do a nice Ally one for £25....

 

 

Which is basically the one off the Milton Quickshift without Milton machined on the top.

 

Got a real nice feel to them and a nice weight...
