mk2 mike Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Yeah that's nonsense. Just use a rag. Did they only touch the front wing then?
jethronoose Posted May 23, 2015 Report Posted May 23, 2015 Original picture looks photoshop'd to me like? The one in the underground car park! Or are my eyes failing me already...
jethronoose Posted May 23, 2015 Report Posted May 23, 2015 I know a guy who owned XEM 635W which was also featured in April Retroford on the front cover, its White, droop snoot.... Probably no reference or relevance.... Im just a broad jumble of useless information to be fair...
ianb10 Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 This is for sale on Ebay as a rolling shell??? About time this guy got put away. Perfectly-preserved-1981-Ford-Escort-RS2000-Mk2-shell- item number 181768690684
DT36 Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 This is for sale on Ebay as a rolling shell??? About time this guy got put away. Perfectly-preserved-1981-Ford-Escort-RS2000-Mk2-shell- item number 181768690684 Excuse my ignorance, but what's the story here? I understand it got stolen and recovered, but other than that, I'm a bit naïve...
PeteRS8084 Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 This is getting ridiculous. .............I saw the listing on flea bay before it was taken off and the muppet put the full names and full address of the previous owners! What a prat! It's a scam and so bloody obvious!
ianb10 Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 This bloke is a real crook, its about time he got what is coming to him. How can a shell turn into a complete car in 4 days with all those trick bits fitted. About time the Police were involved I think.
PeteRS8084 Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 It's a scam ad.................you see them on flea bay all the time, you just have to check out the price, and they normally only want contacting via some dodgy e mail address. Mine appeared in the same format about 2 months after I bought her...........They just cut and paste the ad, although this none looks like they may have hacked the account. I will report it and it will get checked. 1
mk1del Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 Just seen it myself, definitely scammers again I have also reported it
ianb10 Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 God this bloke has a death wish, he has just listed it again after his last advert was removed by Ebay. He has now used another account name. I have reported the listing again. About time Ebay sussed this guy out.
colr6 Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 This guy wants stringing up by the nether regions then put them on eBay. Don't think you would have to put a reserve on them because I would think a lot osf owners eager to bid and get them only to put them in a very slow closing vice! All proceeds to go to a charity of the winners choice. 1
mk1del Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 Just got back from a show today few people approached me today about my red flat front ,talking about the one on eBay, one guy actually emailed the scammers about trying to buy it because he thought it was a bargain, this is how easy and gullible people are, I asked him if he thought he could really get a nice rs for £4500 ! 1
ianb10 Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 Would you believe me if I said that this guy has listed it as a shell on Ebay again? Using another account name. I just don't believe the ba**s this guy has, surly he is going to be caught at some time.
ianb10 Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 Don't know but he must push a wheel barrow around in front of himself for his gonads

mk1del Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 I also reported it ,must be most scammed car on internet, 1
PeteRS8084 Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 The trouble is that e bay get so many listing they can't police everything. I have had 2 cars scammed on there including kermit. But it's always the stupid extremely low buy it now price that gives it away, plus the call and leave me your mobile number chestnut. Vigilance is everything people!
mk1del Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 Plenty of folk probably think genuine bargain ,especially if your looking to get into the scene and not clued up on prices of escorts or old fords ,up to guys like us to try and keep it at bay by reporting. them ,as we have been lately 1
PeteRS8084 Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 This one has re appeared on flea bay again...........5.5k! On with loads of other stupidly cheap cars! Must be one of the most scammed ads out there, so bored of it now I can't even be bothered to report it!
Daddio Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 you could always offer to meet up with the cash and a big bat....
