antz Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 2 weeks ago i sent my beloved escort away for restoration. it was supposed to take a week but due to multiple setbacks ijncluding my replacement panels been as stright as elton john and a mix up of paint setting it back over a week! ive been told its comming home tommorow! im dead nervous cos when i last saw it i saw the car at the worst point cos it was all stripped down and covered in filler dust and weld! i hope its all going to be ok and a stunning car when its back! i have to go pick it up and YES THERE WILL BE LOTS OF PICS!!! got some new wheels to go on it as well as soon as its home! im just nervous cos i dont trust anyone even near my car let alone strip it down and rebuild it! im just worried icnase he hasnt done a good job even though ive seen his work before and he has a good name for himself locally. anyway WISH ME LUCK THAT ITS A PROPER JOB AND MY BABY WILL BE HOME TOMMOROW!! cant wait to drive her!

(yes one of the setbacks was teh guy painted it in SIGNAL ORANGE by accident there was a mix up at the paint shop) ill get pics when i get back

HE HAS ONLY GONE AND SHEARED A BRAKE LINE SO NOW IM PIKCING IT UP TOMMOROW! its just problem after problem with this fooking car i was so excited to finally see my baaby all fixed up! AND NOW IVE GOTTA WAIT ANOTHER 24HOURS!
