Some Changes to report

Old Skool Ford has been around for about 13 years now, over the years varying members of the Admin and Moderator team have come and gone and assistance has been appreciated from all of them.

 

People's lives and interests change though and by 2013 all had moved on but for Jo (Mk2Jo) and I. Jo largely focussed on the OSFDC and also covered a treasurer's role whilst I dealt with the rest. At that time Dave (SmokeEm) stepped up and helped as a moderator looking after the classified section and his assistance was much appreciated. Those of you who have put "offers" in the classified section will have had his timely reminders   

 

As Retards Club, Twitter and other Social Media outlets became necessary evils to manage as part of the forum, the workload behind the scenes steadily increased to a level that eventually became unmanageable and it was necessary to reach out for support in order to keep the forum and its various other outlets going. It is with pleasure and gratitude therefore that I announce that SmokeEm has taken on an Admin role (you may have noticed his name now in red) and Mexican Gerbil (Chris) and Rally Pack 2000 (James) have signed up as Moderators. Chris will be looking to promote events on the forum and James will be a general moderator.

 

I thank Dave, Chris and James for stepping up.

I am sure I speak for the masses on here when I say a big thank you to you for ALL the hard work behind the scenes you have done over the years and although you're going nowhere, enjoy your newly found time and freedom.

I knew someone would ask something be done about that, but if Scott hasnt been able to do anything after all these years I doubt I can!

 

There is one drastic solution though, he is always after me to ship my Twincam over to him. His conversion would be complete. Not like Im using it. I refer to it as my house deposit.

Speaking of converted, I remember seeing a very nice looking Modena Green Mk1 capri approaching at a CCI show in the mid 90's..................only for it to get close and hear it it had been converted to run a 1.6 naturally aspirated diesel lump

Just thought of how to get a bit more revenue for the club, as the government implements a rich tax we should implement an escort tax. Well you have to be rich to own an escort so why not do the same thing ! Will help us supposed lesser members feel better. Would suggest an extra 50p on all transactions.

So there are only 3 moderators in the uk?

There are 3 Admin members in the UK. A further four global moderators (Popeye, Tall Paul, Mexican Gerbil and Rally Pack 2000) plus some additional moderators of localised areas. The sponsors can moderate their own rooms and there are dedicated moderators for the OSFDC rooms plus the stolen room.
