Oldandgrumpy Posted March 18, 2018 Report Posted March 18, 2018 Hello to all, new to the forum after a long break from Escorts( when I last had one it wasn,t a classic Ford just a Ford!?) Now i,ve bought a basket case 4 door as that,s all I can afford !! Thought This might be a good way to source panels and info. Still at the new panel welding stage, got a one piece floor fitted with new seat x members and all the old brackets welded in. Now looking for pair of full outer sills with the step but struggling a bit. Saw loads on ebay recently but now i want them they seem to have disappeared. Suggestions would be welcome. Cheers 1

Oldandgrumpy Posted March 18, 2018 Author Report Posted March 18, 2018 I can,t see them listed but might be worth a phone call, cheers.
Xp197777 Posted March 18, 2018 Report Posted March 18, 2018 Yeah I would give them a call because they don’t list everything
Rich T Posted March 18, 2018 Report Posted March 18, 2018 Try Expressed Panels. They may have em. Rich
oldwheels Posted March 19, 2018 Report Posted March 19, 2018 Nice to see another more door, That looks one hell of a job fitting a full floor, what are your plans, keep us posted with progress
Oldandgrumpy Posted March 20, 2018 Author Report Posted March 20, 2018 Thanks for all the replies, think i might have found a pair. One piece floor wasn,t that bad, just ratchet strapped it up to make it fit through the front windscreen aperture and it pretty much fell in! Plan is to use it for Historic Road Rally Clubmans Championship to try to keep the costs down. Was going to post some pics on the Restoration project page but the quality of the projects on there is pretty impressive. 1

Could be an advantage putting your progress on the resto pages, an approach to any job in a resto could be done in a better or easier way which you may not see or have thought of. You will always find someone willing to give advise or a suggestion, whether you take or not is up to you. Good luck with the build and welcome to OSF.
