MacFocus Posted August 19, 2018 Report Posted August 19, 2018 Hi there, Time to join Old Skool Ford I guess. Guy, 50 years on this earth, owns a Capri since 2009. Something with an early mid-life crises Short version, buying that Capri was (besides the financial side) one of the best decisions of my life as you probably all know all to well. My first Capri was an green 1979 MK3 2.3 v6. Not original, and not running when I bought her. Fixed a lot, including a full rebuild of the engine, myself with huge amounts of help of others. That's how you learn and get some friends. Speaking of friends, The Capri gave me some very dear friends some of which are found here too. After 9 years of fun with that car, it's time to move forward. A more original car and an even better engine. So, bought myself a MK 3 3.0 V6 in White. Will need to rebuild the engine as (again) not running, in fact not even in the car. Even though I have a walking Capri encyclopidia at hand in the form of my best friend, I do hope Old Skool Ford will be joyful and provide me with knowledge I don't have yet. The green one is for sale as we speak. 3
