Hi 

going for some cibie oscars for my mk1 and need a bit of advice. Is the correct set up  9“ super oscars To the upper and the smaller 7” to the lower?.

usually super oscars on top, bout 9" and oscars on the bottom bout 7" or 8". but they also look great with 4 super oscars!

I do think I prefer the 7s upper and lower actually when I review the images above. The 9s just dwarf the headlights a bit too much.

Im a Carello man, I would go into detail why but the light is getting a bit too dim to type at the moment. :wink:

The prices that cibies are commanding, is it not cheaper to go to Specsavers and see where your going normally without having to floodlight the road to achieve this?.....lol

no col its better to blind the people driving these modern cars with them stupid xenon lights that blind ya even when theyre on dipped beam.

In the late 80s NSW Police when through pick on any car enthusiast phase and one of their targets for defect was added driving lights. If it wasn't original your car was issued with a defect notice. I'm still pretty sure aftermarket lights were still legal but they did it anyways. I was called smart ar*e several times when after I let them write out a ticket them tell them to check out the Ford symbol in the middle of the glass and one time it even went through the system. I wrote them to proceed to court as I was refusing to pay the fine and challenging their ruling, before being able to embarrass them in court I received a letter saying they were dropping the matter but told me not to infringe again. Go figure.

Or just buy the out shell and a cover....... as I found on my first Escort ??‍♂️
