Rally Pack 2000
While the Grand Tour was pretty much a more elaborate Top Gear, I just watched pretty much the last episode as we know it with an audience and road tests and track times. This episode a classic example of what will be missed with the show from now forward. The history of medium sized Ford from the Cortina to the Mondeo was one of the best I have seen. Its sad that they just intend to focus on their foreign adventures instead. Some are fun but they can get tedious at times. Without information about new and interesting car models and a bit of classic history interlaced with comic banter and discussions I think focusing on the adventures without even an bit of a discussion or interlude in between that the show will loose its way. Watching them fall over in the mud in motorcycles or driving cars made of clay or dead animal parts just doesn't work for me as a car show. Judging that I have never seen Jeremy Clarkson cry before I suspect he thinks they are loosing something special too.
colr6
Did some filming on that, total shambles. Only good thing was the free food ! Apart from that poorly organised and dare say upset a lot of people in Lincoln town where it was filmed. Funnelling 2/300 cars into town centre not a good idea on a Saturday, then to close a main road to get all the accumulated cars out at once, another brill idea. Not seen the end result, but amazed if it was any good.
Rally Pack 2000
They did mention the traffic jam but it made for dramatic effect. I enjoyed it.

Vista
Not sure the current Mondeo can be viewed as, "medium sized". It's probably par with the last Granada.

I said that to Maija as hers is massive. Unless they are classing the S B & C Max is big cars. I thought it was a good show. Nice to see some proper cars for a change 😄😄😄

They start out as small or medium cars then as they add all the gadgets and increase engine size to compensate for the extra weight they then jump the line into the next size car class. It happens alot here especially with Ford.
Rally Pack 2000
New Series Episode 1 of Season 30 - "Dad's Cars" include a Mk1 Fiesta and Mk4 Cortina driven by the boys for the episode. Nice OSFs and a BMW 323i ringer. Plus a stint with 3 Mk2 Escort Rally Cars in a forest, I doubt you will ever see that much OSF in a Top Gear Episode ever again.
