tay14 Posted August 11, 2019 Report Posted August 11, 2019 I have had a works van for around 18 months and only use the wife’s car occasionally on her insurance. is there any insurance companies that will let me use my no claims bonus I have on my classic car policy??i have a cortina which is due renewal soon and i have full no claims which will go back to zero if I don’t use it. Thanks Paul.
DT36 Posted August 11, 2019 Report Posted August 11, 2019 I used my no claims with Performance Direct when I had a company car.
Ray Posted August 11, 2019 Report Posted August 11, 2019 anything like my classic car policy and the premium is so cheap to start with that I doubt its worth their while tbh
colr6 Posted August 11, 2019 Report Posted August 11, 2019 The policies I’ve had don5 have a no claims facility, it’s just a set price.

notenoughtime Posted August 11, 2019 Report Posted August 11, 2019 When I wasn’t using my ncd they allowed me to keep it as I was still insured on a car give them a call, I use Adrian flux for all my policies
colr6 Posted August 11, 2019 Report Posted August 11, 2019 You don’t loose your NCD if you don’t use it for a year or so, just keep your last renewal with proof of NCD for a future policy

colr6 Posted August 11, 2019 Report Posted August 11, 2019 Some are two but others up to three, if you have a spouse then just alternate the policyholder on a normal policy thus keeping your NCB active.
