Sad about the tour but it was inevitable.... think this summer's car season is written off completley. Guessing you can use the route next year tho so all is not wasted. Not sure if I've got cancellation with the hotel. They'll probably all be closed anyway.

Thank you all for the kind messages. I needed a distraction, so reading these helps. 

I will give you a snippet of the proposed route. It was a coastal road that had washed away 2 years ago so I was putting off the final route run until the storms had gone incase the road washed away again. 

I will have to get a marker pen and edit the tour plaques 😄

I was in the exact same place on Friday evening in the escort. Great view on a fine day and stunning roads
