hi all thought you may like to see my cortina p100 3ltr Essex v6, imported from South Africa bit off a disappointment when it arrived, photos allways look better, worst was the paint but three weeks in a spray shop made it look the way it was supposed to, power steering and a 5 speed box sometime in the future, but looking for a demountable for the bed at the moment unfortunately not many used ones around .

I'm afraid the days of getting a "nice" car from South Africa are long gone. Stuff that's coming over now is pretty horrendous , in the bodywork and mechanical departments.

But I suppose that's all part of the fun, getting it how you want it. 🙄

Welcome  to the forum Keith. I think this is the first Cortina Bakki (South African name) that I have see on the forum its great to see. A 3.0lt V6 makes it a rare beast indeed. The Paint combination looks excellent too.

Think I have seen a few previously. Not common though.
