Agreed, a friends Dad had one back in the day, same colour, but sadly it met it's maker when it was just parked up at the end of his garden on the mud and grass for about 5 years, just rotted away 😢

Very surprised they are even for sale here. Seems reasonable prices?

I had a spat of Triumphs in the 80s including a couple of Sprints. I had a white automatic and an inca yellow with overdrive. They were more plush than an Escort, but no where near as much fun to drive! I never had any overheating issues with mine, but back then I hardly kept anything for any length of time.
