MK1 Escort Paint Code Help

Hi,

Has anyone got a list of colour codes for the early mk1 up to 1970?

I'm after a blue and I believe there is a few.

Also need the character for the vin plate (old style) if anyone can help.

Which particular blue? Or are you just wanting to see which blues were available?

a good restoration body shop will have the books with the paints and codes, that also give their make up to mix them

Dont know of any lists, but Blue Mink was an early blue as was Lagoon Blue

These are a few I can think of don't think Olympic Blue was an option in 1970 though

Monza Blue

Electric Blue

Olympic Blue

Marine Blue

It will say on the vin plate if you have it

Post up a picture and someone will be able to tell you, either from the picture or from the letter code on your chassis plate. Is the body plate still attached too?
