15s on an escort mk2 show me yours!

Would love to see and hear from anyone running 15 inch wheels on standard arches, what sort of mods are needed? Cheers

Depending on the width abd tyre sizes, you may need to make modifications to the inner arches too, in particular on the front where you can scrub at full lock.

I had 15"s on mine for about 2 weeks, didn't like them so took them off and flogged them.

I had to go narrower than my current 7j wheels to ensure they didn't rub - appreciate MK1's and MK2's are marginally different mind.

Its all in the offset. Rule of thumb is 15x7 +12 to +15 and youll be fine.

Mine are 15x6.5 +9 on the front, 15x7+ 15 on the rear

What suspension set up do you have with the wheels? Looks lovely mate

GRP4 front struts and lowered leaves in the rear. Bilstein shocks

anither question in relation to your car, are your seats Capri ones and been re trimmed? If so what are the materials used on them? Cheers

Capri Laser seats re-trimmed in the pics below.  Scheel bolsters and headrests from Aldridge, trimmed to fit. I used these as I bought a Capri interior for £80. Sold the back seats, panels and shelf again for £80, so these were practically free. 

Capri sport seats would have been ideal, but they were all strong money and would still need recovering. 

A nice seat that will look good are the Le Man's that @Vista has fitted in his van. Was eying these up if I couldn't get these to work.

Seats are from the recaro LS/LX range which came in a few cars from aus but alot more from japan, retrimmed in some local fabric by a guy here. He did a great job, i asked him to match some pictures i supplied, see if i can find the link.
