Brake discs

I'm looking for a pair of 257mm diameter vented brake brake discs to fit my Mk3 Cortina fitted with Princess 4 pot spaced calipers, I got the last pair from Rally Design but they wont have stock for at least 8 weeks, I can get the old ones skimmed as they are a bit warped but it's not ideal, any suggestions please?

The 257 mm ones are used to make use of the all the pad area. You could use 247 mm discs which leaves a bit of pad area unused. Then fit the new 257 discs in a couple of weeks.

I got a new pair of 2.8i capri vented discs

The 257mm are the ideal with Princess callipers. I remember when I got mine Rally Design were the only place that had them. May have to wait it out unfortunately.

Im sure the the 257 discs are from a BMW and redrilled

Many years ago a clubmember had these calipers and he used discs from Fiat.

Problem sorted, Ive had the discs skimmed which took the warp out, but for the future I have a new pair on back order from Rally Design which I now remember is where I got the current ones from, saves buying a complete new set up with calipers! besides I like the Princess ones!
