How do you drill hole in glass

Serious question. Need to drill three holes in a side glass for someone. What's the best method. The hole is 6mm diameter.

Using glass drill bits........ car glass is toughened though so be careful you don't shatter it by applying too much pressure, in fact the general advice is not to drill toughened glass at all, see below.

Make sure you centre punch it first 😁

as far as im aware you cannot drill toughened glass, even polishing it carries a high risk of it shattering

Simple answer though - Don't!

Forget it , don’t bother it will just shatter . Holes etc are all put into the glass before it goes through the toughening / tempering process .
