Hi, I'm looking for one Grp1 RS Ronal alloy rim, H71-EB-1007-AA (6J X 13) to add to my set I have, year i'm not too bothered about it just needs to be straight and not be knocked around. If you have the odd rim sitting there that fits the description and you want to sell it let me know.

thanks

Chris

Be wary of anyone who sends you a PM professing to have the part you want and asking you to email them directly. The last two guys were both scammers and are now banned. One from California, the other from Lagos.

As suspected which is why I asked for you to take a look, a quick search of images online matched the ones supplied and why would you sell one wheel from a set of four! sadly you have to start from a point of mistrust!  Thanks for confirming.

Thanks, I contacted him last week. He's got three but wants another 130 euros to post and then i'll have to pay customs, vat and a handling charge. I asked if he'd do a deal if I bought all three, yes 1030 euro's :-)

Luckily a mate knows someone who will sell me one, he just cant guarantee the date will match the set I have which isn't a problem as it's for a spare wheel.

That's not a GP1 RS wheel.

Nor RWD I suspect with that offset - I recognise the pattern, just can't pin it to a particular car - got it Capri mk2 (Which is sort of RWD LOL!)

I didn't know there was a difference between Grp 1 wheels but from what i remember they're dated late 70s

yeah the mk1 wheels are 5.5" the mk1 group 1 are also 5.5" but made stronger. mk2 wheels and mk2 group 1 wheels are both 6" but again the group 1 wheels differ slightly to be stronger.

Mk1 grp 1 wheels are H71EB1007AA  They have an ET of 11- 12 which isn't on the rim. 6J x 13 H2. when you look at the valve it sits within the spoke, unlike the others. They have a 70mm centre cap and from what I've gathered can be date stamped 72 being the common year that come up, mine are year 74 but I've been told they were made as late as 77.

this link shows a set on ebay but they've been diamond cut which isn't for me but some may like them.
