katana
I have a few bits and pieces left that the car buyer didn't want so might as well offer them here, 1. 4No Ford Capri / RS style 13x6" Alloys with taper wheel nut seat. Have tyres fitted although pretty worn. £25.00 / each or £95.00 for all 4 ? 2. 1No Ford RS Escort 13x6" Alloy with tube nut, flat washer seat. Has M&S tyre fitted (which I wouldn't use LOL!) £30,00 3. Mk2Mania Power Steering Kit, as supplied and complete with ecu (to best of my knowledge as no instructions) Outer column has been cut in two so that motor can be re-aligned, for use with a bias pedal box and Escort dash. Also has HD forged steering knuckle. £450.00 ono. (these seem to be £700 + vat from whoever has them!) 4. RS Escort, steel vacuum tube that runs from RH servo, around bonnet slam panel and back to Pinto Inlet manifold. Good condition, no kinks or dings! £40.00 5. OEM Ford RS Escort throttle cable - used but functional - suitable for std. downdraft carb (with correct linkage (not included)) £15.00 6. Kenlow fan and mounting hardware - was fitted to car when purchased, never refitted. 'Period Accessory' - £50.00 ono. 7. Pipercross Airbox / Plenum with fixing plate to suit twin DCOE's or Jenvey DCOE style Throttle Bodies. https://www.burtonpower.com/air-box-with-intake-pipe-filter-100mm-lh-c6100lh.html Never fitted £90.00 ono 8. K&N Universal Flat plate Airbox 51mm deep (no longer available) - https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/k-n-filters-universal-air-box-244173/ Never fitted or holes drilled! £75.00 ono. 9. 2No. Alternators - one is from a Pinto OHC engine / RS Escort - I think its 45A output and was working when removed - £30.00 ono. And the other came off the Blacktop Zetec 2.0L from a Mondeo that was donor engine for the Escort. I assume it was ok as engine was removed from running car - I think the output is 75A or more? - £40.00 ono. I'll get photos if anyone wants them and it stops p**sing down. As most things are either bulky or heavy, I'd prefer personal collection otherwise all prices + courier costs! Vista
I could be interested in the Kenlowe gear. What nick is it in and will it transfer straight across to a mk1?
katana
I'll take some pictures and you can judge for yourself as regards fit as it did come off a mk2.

katana
Following on from the stuff listed above, I've also found MORE! 1. Pair of Alloy axle lowering blocks - 1.5" drop - bit manky £10 + postage? 2. Pair of M16 Front calipers (took off to fit Wilwoods!) They are spacered to suit Capri Vented discs. They look not totally crusty with newish pads as I believe they got pulled at last MOT. Checked both bleed screws are loosened. As a pair of reconditioned calipers and spacer kit will set you back about £150, how about £75.00 + a £5 for post? 3. Pair of 3 leaf, std. Escort / Capri rear springs. Good bushes, bit crusty and will do if nothing better available £20 NO POST - COLLECT ONLY! Or they go to recycling at end of January. 4. Ford car jack as supplied with Escorts (and maybe others?) Wind-up pillar type with folding arm, black knob type handle - see pic. £40.

Forgive my ignorance, I've never owned a mk2, is the fan mounted behind or in front of the rad? i.e. is it a push or pull fan?
Miniliteman
According to the Ford info of the 70's it is mounted in front of the radiator (that's where I fitted mine).
Johnny Boy
I'm pretty sure they were universal, so you could fit them in front or behind.
Johnny Boy
A quick google , I found this................... Kenlow fitting guide
GrahamU
I'd be interested in the jack, although I'm sure that should have gone as part of the car

As I removed it over 10 years ago, I haven't a scooby doo but based on bugger all space between water pump pulley & rad in the RS I'd say in front was more than likely ! Whilst the wires can be reversed to spin opposite direction, the airflow volume goes down hurting cooling potential. The Kenlowe instructions posted by Miniliteman show the 'earlier version' that uses a type of Zip Tie through the rad fins (had this on my Mini) The one I'm selling uses arms to mount to body not rad.
