Hello folks.

I've re-joined this forum because I'm sick of the nitwits on that social media site that wont be mentioned.

 

I'm currently restoring a Mk 2 Escort van that I imported from Australia. I've owned it for nearly 10 years but only now getting on to it now.

The specs:

1980 Mk 2 Escort XL Van (side windows)

Factory 2.0 Pinto (Australian)

Mild cam (Crow Cams)

Sierra 5spd gearbox conversion

LSD (Brand unknown)

Willwood Brakes

JB replica superlite wheels

This is about my 13th Escort van. I've had both Mk 1s and Mk 2 including Australian Sundowner vans back in the early 2000s.

Also had other Escorts, Capris and a few Cortinas. 53 in total over the last 30+ years.

I hope to go through the build pics that the previous owner took and make a video for YouTube. So many pics.
