Rear parcel shelf improvement

As the title suggests, does anyone have experience of how to rejuvenate a rear parcel shelf, mine is brown and I’ve tried a few different substances to bring it back to life but nothing had improved it, is it just a case of finding a matching coloured paint or is there a proper restoration method available?

What about getting some dark brown faux leather and re-cover the whole thing by sticking it down with spray glue?
If the colour matches ok, it'll look like new.

Have you tried a heat gun, it works on most discoloured plastics.

My original one has speaker holes I wanted removed so I found a beige one and vinyl sprayed it black.

I tried all the above.

Ended up buying a new fibrglass one from Historic Motorsport.

It fitted really nice.

Not cheap though.
