He’s clearly got taste.
Astonishing isn’t it, that just because he drives a car that doesn’t fit his supposedly narrative and he’s probably got a few quid, he should be wafting around in a supercar. 

The press are dreadful. I remember when Jurgen Klinsmann, the  Tottenham striker in 94,  turning up in a battered old Beetle for training and was lambasted for it. These are the types of blokes you could go for a pint with.

Ha, the "shitter" bit made me laugh. Up here in the north we'd say a "nail" or a "blender" too, so it sounds like it's a pretty universal bit of old-school slang for a banger you use for getting about. Fair play to Matt LeBlanc, though. A tidy old motor that gets you from A to B is a lot more honest than rolling up in a supercar just because the papers expect it. Half the time the cars people brag about are the ones that spend more time in the garage than on the road.
