Brother in law got married to his lady, so used Eddie as the bride's car....little treat for her. Spent all morning washing, polishing and hoovering for the occasion. Added some ribbons and bows...bingo. Jobs a good un. The day was brilliant with plenty of comments and pics taken...they even said nice things about the bride too.....

Also a valid point Many years ago I was alongside in the US Naval base in Newport Rhode Island, we had a couple of inebriated USN guys drinking with us in the mess (or trying to) one of them kept banging on about how much history the US had............he was promptly silenced by a grizzly old RN Chief in the corner who pointed out that in Europe we had bottles of wine with older history than his country.

Yep mines 1972 which I’m led to believe was the year They all had the bowl bracket and then when AVO took some off the line for RS models they added all the modifications inc the three washer pins and then in late 72 onwards they all used the other bottle but not the UK RS 1600 which had the cheese wedge type until the end of production , I’m fairly sure that’s the right information but there’s always a surprise out there lol

At least when you do pull a classic out of an Australian barn, it stands a reasonable chance of not being full of rot. On occasion here they can pull apart on account of seized brakes.

Definitely late as that shows twin outlets as opposed to the single bonnet mount on early cars.
