    Fart Game

Lol oh dear. We swear the lifts at work give you wind cos of the fast ascent/desent, my mate copmes out of them in the morning blowing off everywhere. Mind you, its satisfying when you do it just before it opens on ground and the people pile in, cos you know they're going to be trapped in it for twenty floors before the door opens again
  3. Not sure, never been in a Zetec car, though my folks now all swear by Vauxhalls Dad had one of the later carltons and that could shift, i'm not sure if that was an XE but it was 2 litre and was pretty nice, but my sister has had a couple of Calibras. The first was a red top and was a really nice motor so I would say that but traded it in for a later model and the block was porus, and there was always oil in the cooling system would of expected it to be water in the oil but the water always went black. It was a bit poo that one, spoilt a great car.
  4. Ah well, that's different then, tw*t! Anyway, hope it goes okay and you get it sorted. Wierd how the bumber didn't touch tho
  5. Bit of an arse that, but as said, I can't see the insurance claim going your way, from a legal point of view if he brakes then his lights show and you should be able to stop in the gap you leave yourself, as being in front he could brake for something you can't see or has a puncture etc you should be able to pull up safely regardless? Thats what I was taught.
  6. You will not get insurance on a transit and to be quite honest that's a worrying suggestion. My mum was going to pass her 1970 Land Rover on to me when I passed my test but the insurers were having none of it, the thing is not the fact that its not as quick as most cars its that the size and weight, if you have a prang its going to do a lot of damage to someone else, and as inexperienced driver, that's a high possibility, we've all had our moments. The Mk5 tina came with a 1300 as a base but its underpowered and hard to find, 1600 at the least but with the size of a cortina its actually the opposite = 2 litre = more economy. Its also economy. I use me mum's corsa while I'm finishing the Anglia & Escort, and even though I only go locally in the evenings it still gets through petrol so stick sub 1600 till you find your feet. Best way to go is as said, a little fiesta or something, or a 1300 escort and you can't beat it, it will open up some fantastic possibilities ie fiting twin choke, K&N and ashley exhaust to start, lowering it and fitting some cheap laser alloys and you've got a neat budget retro that you can upgrade and fit 1600/ hot 1700/2-litre as you progress and get more experienced driving and insurance allows. Remember though, brake & suspension upgrades always come first, then you'll have a platform to do as much or as little as you want.
  7. Slam it. Supalites. Pimp. (I know its been done, but its cos it works so well)

  19. I got a blue Sapphire you could ave
  20. I'd love a mk2, was thinking bout getting one as a daily driver but then the fuel consumption and insurance would take all the funding from the MK1, but it'd e more practical than the Anglia (well it'd allow me to go to bluewater in an evening rather than be a day trip out ). Some little knobhead lobbed an egg at me as he was driving the other way, but me being me wouldn't let it go much to the fear of my gf, so big j-turn and hammered across town after him, got on his bumper and thought 'crap, im in my mums corsa, what am i meant to do now?' see if i were in the anglia or me ol landy i coulda given a gentle nudge but these plastic bumper cars, well both of them would have imploded.
  21. Anglia steering wheel, bullet mirrors, various badges, bucketseats, toolboxes and 4-spokes under my bed girlfriend thinks I'm wierd
  22. Well done, I'd love to have a go at rallying!
  23. There's a field in front of my house you can all camp in! Is there any sheep? Dont get your hopes up too much mate
  24. Lol, a while back I was sat at the lights and some ponce in a porsche pulled up alongside wity blonde bimbo in the pasenger seat alongside all in pinstripe suit. I guess its cos I'm from a farming community, and I like spannering on cars but I just hate yuppies, who have the suit the & quick poser car out the box etc and think they're the top dogs. Anyway, I'm always stopped by these lights and even though the Anglia's only 997 its a letermodel with the shorter diff and hence is pretty nippy, so, the moment the lights changed I gunned it and dropped the clutch, gunning it through the gears. Anyway they were'nt expecting that in the least and only passed me when I hit 50, as that's when the power starts to tail off in the anglia, and they got over the shock, and I got some big waves and smiles whenthey passed. Its a shame its on Rostyles, it would have been funnier on stock steels. The other, I was rushing to pick up my girlfriend and it was raining, heading down a stretch of dual carriageway and for some reason everyone gets scared of the rain or something and stays on teh inside lane, causing a huge qeue from the roundabout, so i drops it a gear and blat off down the outside, as there's nothing turning across from teh opposite side I brake late, going a bit too quick and having drums, fling it round and the tail comes out, knowing its a biggie and there's enough space between me and some chav in his astra coupe who's watching so I gunned it and brought it round to full lock, really nicely too so I turned and waved at him out the back screen and then smiled, his face was a picture! Got it back and blatted off up the empty lane. That was just so cool, you know when everything happens effortlessly as though in slow motion... I can't wait to have the Mk1 going.
