I'd imagine they're not as good but they're cheap and have vastly more positive feedback than negative, I'm on a tight budget so I reckon it could be a half decent compromise. That and it can't be worse than what's on there now! Cheers

Dynamat is amazing but so expensive. I did my Escort with a roll of bitumen-backed stuff left over from work, but if you put it near anything hot it bloody stinks haha.

I'd suggest using the Solex carb from a Renault 5 Turbo, I think they may have been used in Xflow Turbo applications before... There was a lot of info and examples (x, x) of Xflow Turbo's on Turbosport, probably makes a good read if you're considering it.

Yes! None of this please.. On the subject, pre-96 isn't all bad, Escort Cosworth and RS500 Sierra for example, and I have a weird soft spot for the Mk3 Fiesta... Also Mondeos, unbelievably, can be cool**.. ** I don't mean proper old Ford levels of cool, I just mean cool for a Mondeo! It's a 180mph cossie turbo powered sleeper, better than a lot of the late 80s/90s junk that may appear

I was planning to come after giving the 2015 one a miss. 2014's was sooo not worth £24 to get in, and I can't see 2016's be any better if it's open to pre-96. I reckon it'll be just like Fordfest was, seems a bit pointless but I know people will go anyway.
