  1. Good to speak with you today, stand looked great
  2. I got mine MOT'd today, where they held the brakes on with the lever thing, the pressure showed a slight weep from the front caliper, it didn't show before so glad I had it checked. I have heard that some insurances can cause a problem if you do go exempt and need to claim, my insurance with Flux never asked if it were MOTd or not.
  3. Saw that video on one of the whatsapp groups earlier, absolute scum, bad enough nicking it but to then put that vid on Face of the book is just rubbing salt in
  4. First car was a mini for 400, first ford was an Anglia with a 1500GT fitted for 500
  5. Got my quote from them, much better than what I have with Flux now.

I had to leave my local ford page on Retards Club the other day, there was no interest in classics and was all Focus and Fiesta ST with their pop and bang maps 🤮 I dont understand pop and bang, a nice overrun crackle yes, but to just pop and bang does my head in 🤣

The mk3 was first in 80 so I wasn't sure how hard and fast the before 80 was but fair enough, if you dont ask, you dont find out It was a bargain, underneath is solid and bodywork is great, had alot of work some years ago and sat in a garage since, it has a running issue which I need to sort before I can MOT

I remember someone saying that to be an OSF it needs to have metal bumpers, so I am picking this up on Wednesday to add to my collection Is it old school Ford enough ?
  16. I've always done my own in the home garage, first my parents garage, not sure they were that happy about that then in a single garage of my first house and now in a reasonably sized double. I've worked on and modified all sorts, mini's, Fords, VWs Unfortunately, my son is more academic and has no idea when it comes to working on cars so I cant pass it on
  17. welcome, I'm not to far away in Suffolk, be good to see you at local meets if you do that

  22. Nice clean looking car you have there, welcome
  23. Be interesting to see them use the Escort name again as it seems to have been banned on some of social media sites simply because some stupid people cant differentiate between a car and lady of the night 😆
  24. couple of nice cars there. Do you have to keep those bumpers or can you change them?
  25. Stopped at a level crossing the other day and saw these in a showroom 2x XR41, XR3i and base Fiesta that were easily seen There were more slightly newer on the other side of the road as well, the owner apparently regularly drives them
