  4. when you consider what some of these rally cars are worth then its not expensive, a sorted mk1 or 2 with right bits are in excess of £40k upwards
  5. they are an amazing piece of engineering as well, ive seen some cheap hubs about and in my opinion these are way way far superior some of them and they come with bearings for an excellent price, i paid £130 for a pair inc everything thru a local supplier who was an agent

  10. the magic 200 from a pinto is more expensive to achieve than from an Xe, mate had a 235bhp Xe on 48s for £3100 £10k will get you 280bhp 2.0ltr £14k will get you 318bhp 2.4ltr £16k will get you 335bhp 2.5ltr compare these to Millington prices and be very surprised

  12. Dcoupe signs, she sells complete livery sets for all sorts of works cars and replicas, can do you virtually anything you need even if you just want a few odd ones she is very helpful, she is on ebay so give it a try, i think she has the eaton yale and cossack mk2s as display images
  13. use silicone sealer on your joints, works lot better than you would think, assembly paste just gets hot and drys out then ends up blowing, its more than upto the temperatures
  14. 175/50s used to be fitted to minis with 7s as standard factory fitment, so cant see why they would be any different on an osf

Check RACMSA blue book for info regarding plates, that book is the bible when it comes to preparing cars for any kind of motorsport, or the alternative is to contact a local motor club and ask them who thier MSA scutineer is, if i remember rightly the names might even be listed in the blue book

  22. That exhaust assembly paste is waste of time, problem is when it get warmed up it drys out and eventually crumbles and exhaust blows again, i use tiger seal on the gaskets and joints, works spot on and is more than capable of taking the heat even on the manifold to head gaskets
  23. monte carlos are wider, and if you want to run big 15s you really need to fit big 15" tubs to avoid clearance issues
  24. I got Falken 912s for £35 each fitted and balanced
