  1. Keep it clean, no dis to anyone who has a vinyl roof, but it would spoil the car if you had a vinyl roof, as said before, it looks hard as it is !! Jeff Harris..
  2. Yeh I wondered why you weren`t there Ian, you missed a gooden mate. I have a tank if you want it mate !!?? Jef Harris..
  3. I enjoyed it mate, it was nice to do something different again , a break off from the engine building stuff ! & to see your grin when I first started it up, was all woth it ,oh & of course the money for doing it .. Jeff Harris..

  9. Yes I agree, the heat was stifeling, we decided to go early, we had done what we wanted to do, & the 11.7, first time out was good enough for us, we are now looking forward to other outings, & especially the Brighton speed trials !! Although before then we will definately be going to the rollers.. Jeff Harris..
  10. We will be watching each others backs Well done 11.7 first run excellent And i here the new automatic box worked a treat aswell i will have to get myself one Andy Yeah the box worked a treat Bruv, Jams was a bit dubious about using a semi/auto box, but if I am gonna be driving it as well, I cant change gear properly, what with my elbow, & me being a old fart, Jeff Harris..
  11. Well we run, a 11.7, 110mph, with knackered Hoosiers, then we tried a good pair of Michelins, & run a 11.7 at 112mph, then after that it was to hot, & we run a 12.0, & a 12.3, Jeff Harris..
  12. Thanks for your comments everybody, It was so satisfying to watch, & not only did it pop a wheelie off the line, but in second as well, I don`t mind telling you, I was crying with excitement, Jeff Harris..
  13. We took James` car up to the Pod today, to give it its first run to see how it would go, although we were gambling on the settings, after missing our slot at Sanspeed, but we decided to go anyway.. Well what can I say I was jumping up & down when he recorded a 11.7et with a terminal of 110mph. Although we did run another 11.7 at a 112mph, he had 2 more runs that were slower, we decided it was to hot to do anymoe runs, & including others that we had been talking to, the track was alot slower. Anyway it didn`t miss a beat & we were over the moon to get that time on its maiden run, fresh out of the box, anyway thats enough blowing of my tumpet. Jeff Harris..

  24. Hello mate, the black paint is satin paint, we use halfords, we think its the best, cos it covers well, the bolts on the thermostat housing, & other non stressing places are aluminium, with cowled washers, we have used the same washers on the inlet & more stressed places, but with stainless bolts.. Demon tweeks is where we got all the anodised bolts & washers from.!! The bolts for the manifold we got from Southern carburettors, in sth wimbledon.. I hope this has helped you. ?? Jeff Harris..
  25. Joanna Best regards Jeff Harris..
