It'd be a shame to use something that mint, also it's sorely in need of a re-spray; I dunno what people were thinking when they decided the colours these cars we going to be produced in...

The vegetarian part of that myth isn't true. Hope the testicle part is. http://michaelbluejay.com/veg/hitler.html In 1760, the College of Physicians and Faculty of Divinity in Paris classified the beaver as a fish because of its scaly tail.

My experience of Tube Tech Soluctions, and their roll cages
Nicks53 replied to GJUK's topic in OLD SKOOL FORD CHAT
To be fair, I can't see that he's derided anyone at this point. Sounds like a bit of a ball-ache considering these vehicles should all be somewhat similar to say the least and that one (cage in this case) should fit all. But then, objectively aside from losing a bit of cash, at least you're not stuck with something, have had a refund and you didn't get the old 'tough luck' response. -
I work in Telecommunications and there are quite a few things that affect your speed including: - Distance from your local telephone exchange - Condition of the internal wiring - Noise/interference on the line - Incorrectly attached devices - Equipment the provider uses - Attenuation on the line And only some of these can be fixed by the Telecom company, some of them they will try and improve and others not so because it's not cost effective, simple as that. It's also worthwhile to mention that although many of the internet providers give figures of the speed you use, many will actually charge based on the usage rather than speed.

There's no point moaning about it? Referees aren't perfect as we all know, fella's just doing his job at the end of the day. I'm sure there's been blunders in the past that've benefitted England, I know there's been probably loads in the league that teams have gotten away with. The answer is, video consultation for stuff like this.
-
Exactly the reason why they should have video refs, they're still fooked regardless.

For my next one, it'll be approx 30 miles to get off the island and then whatever the distance from Liverpool. Or of course, I could fly there but then there'll still be the distance added on the return.

Would I be right in thinking it's the same time almost every year? If so that's a bit of a bugger because the TT is not worth missing, highlight of the year.
-
Thats the way to do it If its a flat space, stick an old ford on it. Holland should be full of them then!
-
Would that be Dave 'cortinamad' that recently left, perhaps?
-
If you don't want it, there's plenty of us that're Cortina-less at present She's a beaut though, what a good find.
-
That's unfortunate, what line of work are you in to need your own wagon of that size? She's some girl, that.

Fortunately, I missed out on the dreaded birch by a year. Kids do seem to get away with anything but then I remember being in primary school and hearing someone say something like "you can't touch me, I'll sue you" which is stupid but unfortunately, I suppose it's quite possible. Teachers don't deserve that much stick from kids.

Mr.Sumo : I didn"t say it was anyone in particulars fault for becoming a nation of spongers...Con or Lab , makes no odds...the fact is this Country has become a Nation of spongers . The way the system works sucks ! Defend the fact that as a working married man , a working Wife and with 3 kids as i am , why it is better for me and the Wife to split up , both quit work ....we would be entitled to receive MORE in benefits , no Council rent / minimal Council Tax to pay , free school dinners etc etc , than i would if we where both in full time employment The only way to defend that is that it's there to support people that find themselves in that unfortunate circumstance, I'm sure it does actually happen to people by no fault of their own. The problem is people that abuse that, I don't agree with that whatsoever and as someone that spends most of the day studying and then works till 10/11pm I cannot stand that people abuse the system in that way but then how do we help those that need it, if not through this system? I dunno, sometimes you just want to give up on this shite.

I'd like to know, more than just based upon someone's say-so how Gordon Brown, who's been in No. 10 for less than 2 years... 'made this country a nation of spongers' 'Sent our Army and RAF to fight in wars in Iraq ( twice)' 'called an old dear a bigot' Firstly, for more than 2 years there have been spongers in the country and if it's a problem that Thatcher and her mob were trying to clear up and blaming the mess of the country on single mums, I can't see how that's the fault of either group. Secondly, it was Blair and not Brown who got the UK involved in the 2nd Iraq war and that in Afghanistan and the first was in 1994 when surprisingly, you were under the conservatives. As for the bigot response, he didn't pull his pants down, leap onto the car and scream it, he's entitled to his own opinions just as you or I are, that was an underhand move by whoever it was that released it to the public and if you all want to know WHY the country is being infested with immigrants from Europe, it's because you're members of the EU. That's why. All member states must agree to a free flow of trade and a free flow of people to join. The answer isn't to play this blame game but to realise that the EU is not the safe haven it's made out to be. You've got the freedom to support Cameron, it's not being disrespectful to oppose him though; you sound a bit like a bloody American coming out with that tripe, next will you be telling us it's unpatriotic to criticise anything our country does?
-
'He who forgets history is doomed (or condemned) to repeat it' - George Santayana. Remember what happened last time the Conservatives were in power...? I can't wait to see what they can do this time.

Try it in another browser or if possible, update the version of Firefox you're using. "Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.63 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 PHP/5.2.9 Server at oldskoolford.co.uk Port " and "Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit" to my mind means that the browser [Firefox] is having issues with some of the commands being issued to it, perhaps there have been changes to the tech details of the site's hosting or they may have changed some of the 'under the bonnet' settings which an old browser may be unable to handle; I'm not 100% on this but could be a potential issue. Or it could just be 'one of those things', they do tend to crop up unfortunately. Anyone else got any ideas of the cause?

Yeah I know, well hopefully someone will grab a bargain and have more time for her. Positive attitude and all that.

That first MK1 doesn't look too bad at a glance, reckon it needs much work? -
Difference being I sold it to someone I thought like-minded, he's just flogged it to a car salesman.
