Ye time machines would be a great invention, looked through some of my archives of classic fords from the late 90's, mk2 RS2000's for under £2k, mint 4 doors going for 600 quid etc, my grandad had a mk2 1300l 2 door escort but when he died i.t was scapped, that was back in '94 I think

I second that, there are a couple of realy fast 4 door escorts in wales in the road rallies, one has a dry sump 2.4 pinto and proflex suspension etc, aswell as plenty of 2.0+ other ones

Thats the way to do it If its a flat space, stick an old ford on it.

Have you let them know your not comftable with it, they should do somthing about it like assist you (they might take the piss a little mind, just do it back), the pop is quite loud (but not deafaning) and it makes me jump in college, but its over in a flash, you could keep a pair of ear plugs in your pocket if your realy bothered about it, moving tyres and wheels around ain't too bad, they can roll, if your struggling with lifting them then get help, there not allowed to make you lift somthing that cause injury, good luck with it
