Col-ashtonmobile Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 because its twin cam dose that mean its 16 valve as well?? yeah it should do.... that is the point of a twin cam engine isnt it? although there are sum funni engines that are single cam and 16v, and vice versa i think... ...not sure I think it'll still be an 8-valver, the description said "pinto cam carriers ground off" ground off ground off wot as in using an angle grinder NO NO IT SAID MACHINED OFF !!!!!!! is how it,s done only joking m8 yeah it,s a normal 8 valve pinto head obviously bigger valves & ports with no cam carrier lobs and the twin cam carrier bolts down where the ball studs would normally go

john_3.0s Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 very nice indeed, not seen one of those heads before seem to remember there were some 16v heads back in the day for the pinto available "warrior" or somehting springs to mind but never saw one in real life - expect they were ultra expensive when new
