yeah it should do.... that is the point of a twin cam engine isnt it? although there are sum funni engines that are single cam and 16v, and vice versa i think... ...not sure

 

I think it'll still be an 8-valver, the description said "pinto cam carriers ground off"

yeah it,s a normal 8 valve pinto head obviously bigger valves & ports

with no cam carrier lobs and the twin cam carrier bolts down where the ball studs would normally go

seem to remember there were some 16v heads back in the day for the pinto available "warrior" or somehting springs to mind but never saw one in real life - expect they were ultra expensive when new

You can still get warrior pintos now, Connaught competition engines supply them but expect to pay £16k + VAT for a new one ready to go, it's a further £460.00 + VAT for an exhaust manifold for a Ford Escort Mk 1/2:
