Thanks for all your comments guys - i've got a couple of teething problems, i need to take the exh manifold off and shorten it an inch cos it hits the floor everywhere!

 

i need to mod the handbrake mech as it rubs the prop and get a temp guage sorted

 

other than that its sweeeeeeeet

 

i might leave the front spoiler off too as i think it looks quite good

i'm gonna whack a pinto temp sensor in it and see if that works but for now i just run with the fan on.

i shortened the exhaust manifold today so now the exh. system hugs the floor (read touches in places ) if i can get the brakes sorted tomorrow i'll get it to work and get the stripes finished and the paint flatted and then she'll be good for the Esher meeton wednesday

took it for a proper test today -

 

the handbrake rubs like hell i might bin it!!! I've left the car at work so tomorrow i'll whip the prop off and 'modify' the hand brake mech/mount and bleed the brakes (again!)

 

there's a drip of oil from the sump but not bad (keeps the chassis lubed)

 

and a slight leak from the gearbox but i can handle that - sure i'll blow it up soon anyway

 

i can't get the paint flatted til saturday and my bloke that does the stripes is off but hey ho.

 

The engines not as torquey as i'd hoped but she's only on a base map so maybe after a RR session i'll be happier, but boy does she rev
