my garage broken in to

get a phone call at work today my garage has been broken in to so after work i go straight down to have a look and get down there looks like a van has reversed in to the door they got the door open had a rummage around last time it happened i cought the little shits down there and i ended up in trouble

what can i do to stop it and what can i do if i catch them as i done want to get into trouble

 

oh they have also dented the front of escy when they dented the door

if you don't live near it, i suggest a couple of nice big metal posts concreted into the ground with a padlock so you can remove them? that'll stop them ramraiding the garages at least?

i rent it and i have alot of stuff like compressor welder car lots of tools everything i have collected just finding it hard for proper lock up atm

if you cant put the posts in, a mate fabricated a bar that goes across the doors and sits in brackets on the frame (bolted right through) and held either end with fook off great padlocks. may be easier than trying to dig holes to set post housings into.

 

Sorry to hear the bad news to start with, last person my mate caught "having a look" had to learn to write again once the (ahem) bruising had gone down. (ok 4 broken fingers)

instead of getting posts concreted in, why don't you find the guys who did it and concrete THEM (up to the waist) into the ground just outside the garage with some sort of "this is what happened to the last person who tried to break in" sign just behind them. sustain their lives by a strict diet of gruel and rats piss...
