same happened to me a couple of weeks ago, only they pulled me over on a lay by where tipper trucks and work vans stop so crap everywhere. and when i got back in the car to drive away they threw the lights back on becuase i had a flat tyre, they where fine before i got pulled. nice rusty nail right through the tyre. so i got a puncture and a producer in one go just so they could ask if it was a mexico and to tell me when he was a lad he had one. although they kindly stood around looking at the car while i changed to the spare on a busy A road.

:evil::evil: tinker lol rozzers.

and they wonder why they get a bad name.

They're not there to change tyres. That's what the AA is for.

i got pulled over at about 12:30 last night, and was very politly told "wheel spins are not appropriate for public roads" and then they got back in ther car and drove off

the thing is though they said i had no insurance, when i have my own poolicy, i got a producer and had to take my certificate into the cop station

i have my own fookin policy in my name tossers

How long have you had the car insured? If it's only recently that will be why. The police computer doesn't get instantly updated with insurance details. It takes a couple of weeks.

it happened to me when i was in my mk1 escort estate when i was 17 , its probably because they dont expect someone so young to be driving such an old car, it cheesed me off aswell at the time but i realised its their job. :D

90% of The Police expect young people to

drive more modern cars....

Cheaper insurance yada yada yada. :)

I got asked if I was a "bit young" to be buyin such an

old car when I picked up my Escort,

people jus dont expect it

Unusuall for it not to be on the database it gets (or should get) updated every night at 7PM, if it's not on the database get onto your insurance you could well of had the car impounded for it not being on the database :(

You might well regret that if it does get impounded. Say if it's spotted by a warden/copper when it's parked up.

1) The panic of where the F*!# is my OSF

2) The inconvenience of paying the pound fees :x

3) The mega-hassle of getting your insurance to admit liability and refund you the fee.

For the sake of a 10 minute phone call to make sure they registered it on the database. I know which I'd choose

Jeez! I must be getting old. I sound like my dad. :D

But he did speak a load of sense!

the one thing to remember fleet is that if you know you are insured then dont get all arsey with the cops as im glad that they are pulling OSF's over making sure that they are in the hands of the owner and not some thieving pikey scum

I had the binmen come round this morning, fricken tossers only went and emptied all my rubbish in the back of their truck  , and then I popped into town and went into a shop, I bought some shopping and the thick twat behind the counter took some money off me!!! I can't believe it, I mean c'mon what on earth do they think they are doing, its doing my head in!!. I then come home to find a note on my doorstep from the window cleaner, he has cleaned my dirty windows and wants paying for it!!! Cheeky to$$er, well he can swivel.......

Oh sorry, what's that you say, they are just doing their jobs, bugger off, im not falling for all that crap.....

From one fed up copper, who is cheesed off with the negative attitude of people who are only to happy to have a go at someone trying to do a job.....

Ah but did they put the bins back where they belong or scattered all over? I once had the bin men leave TWO bins at the end of my drive (blocking it) AS I WAS REVERSING THE VAN OUT.

How inconsiderate is that?

I got pulled by the police about 2 years ago saying that I had no insurance, I spent about ten minutes in the police car expliaining that I have had th policy for 8 months and the latest payment had just gone out. I then recived a producer and when I took all the documents to the police station the lady behind the desk noticed that on my policy cover note there were 2 digits the wrong way round and that was the reason that I got pulled.

Now if I had have been envolved in a fatel accident the insurance compony may have been able to get out of paying up on the claim as it was my duty to check over the cover note and policy details Also the olice could have quite easily have done me for having no insurance on that vehicle, But they were understanding and didnt

Every credit

i had that happen to me.......they never noticed it at the police station either.....and when i got a ticket before for not wearing a seat belt the copper also wrote it down wrong on the ticket

I'd rather hop a train home then spend a day getting me car back than have some uninsured twat write my car off *at my own cost* and get away with it, these little hassles are worth it

I'd be behind Daggle to but i hear he has wind
