RFChris Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 i suspect another YB I say the same YB, but with a Daft Punk song incorporated...Harder, better, faster, stronger.... <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sr2JneittqQ&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sr2JneittqQ&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
4parajon Posted December 6, 2007 Author Report Posted December 6, 2007 That is defo me after a few sherberts.......only not as good, obviously Tis a YB going back in, built properly this time, with a fully balanced bottom end, Wossner pistons, lightened flywheel, ARP bolts, mildly ported and polished head with BD14 cams with a T3 (for now ) and a partridge in a pear tree
antz Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 arp bolts are ludicrusly expensive!!!!! i was gonan build my engine with them but gave up when i found head bolts were over £100 a set
Messenjah Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 if the old one is taking up space send it here m8
Toby Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 arp bolts are ludicrusly expensive!!!!! i was gonan build my engine with them but gave up when i found head bolts were over £100 a set Just put them on your rods mate Put plenty of oil on all your bolts as you torque them to get the genuine stretch on the bolts. I use standard bolts on mine. (pre-cross). They wont make you any more power and IMHO you can give a standard head bolt the top torque figure in the manual on a cross-flow no problem, maybe - and don't tell an engineer a tickle more!
caprifan Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 nice one mate......she will soon be back
mossy Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 sounds expensive! wish i could treat mine!
