Been using my '56 Pop since the day I bought it in August, but just bought a (don't laugh) Fiat Cicento to run around in while I take the Pop off the road for some fairly major surgery! Hope to have it up and running again by May, but may keep Cicento for Winter use and just take the Pop out on "Nice" Winter days.

20000 miles in 18 months says I must use mine everyday. Over the holidays, the car is going to hopefully get us

Tring -> Bristol -> Evesham -> Rickmansworth -> Linlithgow -> Crinan ->Evesham - Sutton Coldfield -> Tring - 1327 Miles.

Bring it on! The cold, the salt, the ice..........

I'll be peeved if we do all that mileage eand don't get spotted! :wink:

tha's all soft :roll:

Abuse>Break>Fix and repeat :wink:

And you've gotta use 'em in the winter otherwise you'll end up wasting the 1day of snow in some unispiring FWD hack :ykt:

My Cortina is used every day and my missus is using the Capri every day.

Only because I haven't fixed her 1600E yet :roll:

They do deteriorate over the winter, but I have never had and do not want a modern car :shit:

specially when you have the slippery weather, thats what RWD is for. :mrgreen:

The Granny is on the road this winter as the Scooby has run out of MOT, and i dont get paid until the end of the week-not a bad thing really. The old girl is starting in the mornings but clearing the condensation is nightmare...HAPPY DRIVING :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::):):):)

I drove to work this morning with ice on the windscreen, the window open to clear condensation and driving rain.

And I still wouldn't have it any other way :ykt::mrgreen:

I took mine out today for a bit of a Boxing day blast. :D

Over the last month or so I haven't used it apart from starting it up on the drive and driving around the block when it's dry. It is my only car, but I steal my mums car to get to work and if I need to go anywhere during the weekend.

I know if you look after the car well enough there is nothing wrong with running it all year. However, if I don't have to use it, I don't. Just to make life easier.
