antz Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 I have had the terracotta terror for nearly 3 years now and i love the car to bits...BUT.... ive always had a soft spot for escort harriers. (particually silver ones) after seeing two on ebay this last and i keep seeing pictures of them i feel taunted and thats its a sign i should follow my dream to own one i dont have the money but i had a few quid in the bank i could add to slowly until i could maybe afford one....i wouldnt sell the terracotta terror though cos i would regret it for the rest of my life if i did. i want one that bad that if anyone has a rotten shell and ID of a genuine harrier sat around ill take it off your hands!!! (hint hint wink wink!) what do you all think...do i: A)Stick to the terror and spend all my money on that B)Live the dream as and save up to buy a harrier please help cos its driving me mad .

bomber1 Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 antz if ur dream is the harrier then go for it. my suggestion to you would be keep the terror but stop modding it. tbh i wouldnt even put the 1600 in it. reason being 1300 cheap tax and insurance = more money you can save quicker for the harrier. keep building that hot 1600 and it will be ready to drop in the harrier i wouldnt get rid of the 4door know especally yours as prices are going to rocket and u wont get a true price for such a clean car hope this helps m8

FlashCadillac Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 to be honest mate you've answerd your own question you not going to sell the terror so thats not worth discussing... i dont balde you. i couldnt sell spud get the terror to a state where its done and driveable and your happy with it and save for the harrier on the other had... do what im doind... keep the terror and turn it into somthing better than a harrier i want an RS3100 or a perana.... but to be honest for the money they fetch, the RS3100 proformance doesnt reflect in the price ticket so im turing spud into something that would beat an RS3100 and it'll look fairly stock

antz Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Posted January 17, 2008 twink i bet you want more for your 4door than i ahve in the bank jason harris. i know what you mean about the 1.3 in the terror but to be honest. the 1.3 bores me and i think that if i dont fit the 1700 ill rapidly get bored of it and itll sit in the garage like my guitars did when i lost interest. i wont sell them but i wont play them either i know the harrier is just another escort but then so it the rs2k and the 1.3 popular. same car just bigger engine and a few different looks as for the 2 doors and 4 doors i still rpefer the 4 doors and i wish the harrier was a 4 door but i cant stop thinkign about the silver/white paint with them stripes think im gonna start saving and see what turns up. if i go off the idea or cant find one then ill just keep saving cos money in the bank beats a hard kick in the face

If you want something then get, dont substitute for it. use the terror for the daily jaunts and the harrier for the fun!

I am going to up my savings per month, stop spending it on shit. get the engine done on the terror and enjoy it! all whilst saving up for a harrier (and eventually a house as my mother reminds me ) so when one turns up at the right time for a price i can afford then i might be the owner of one
