There are worse places you could be. Iraq India USA. Workmate has just come back from NZ, he had a great time (be good for a visit).

I think it´s more a generation problem... I can remember not too long ago when one of those yank teenager psychos marched into a school shooting down everything that moved. We all slagged off the Americans saying how could they let that happen...a couple of months later the same thing happened here in Germany, not in a major city or problem area but in a nice quiet rural part of (local) northern Germany.

All that available work force we could have cleaning the hospitals etc and effectivly for free....expect it would contravene their human rights or somehting though. what i dont understand is that every sane person you speak to feels the same, so why isnt this happening? this country is WAY to soft, no wonder all the underworld scum of europe gravitates this way.

We all slagged off the Americans saying how could they let that happen...a couple of months later the same thing happened here in Germany, not in a major city or problem area but in a nice quiet rural part of (local) northern Germany. it the same all round the world, and as for it being this generation, mindless violence by thugs and nut jobs has been going on for 100s of years, it just with all the available media you here about many more incidents. in the 1800s, liverpool had its cornermen, manchester had its scuttlers and london had its hooligans. these were basically victorian hoody gangs that would hang round the industrial parts loitering and asking people for change for a pint, if they didnt get the money or where looked at wrongly they would give the victim a good kicking with there hob nail boots (the victorian equivelent to hoodies and trainers). many where kicked to death, the only difference is that back then when you got caught you got hung. the only real break in this activity was when we had a world war and that is only because most young lads where signed up for service. iv read a few books about these things and believe me its nothing new and unfortionatley some people just dont respect the value of another persons life as much as others.

I still ove my country and love living here, such a shame some bastards feel its ok to do as they please and spread terror throughout the area just because they think its fun and makes them look tough. It's also a shame that there arent more servere punishments for people. Not too long ago in the town I live in, a deaf lad got the shit kicked out of him because some chavs shouted insults at him, being deaf he didnt reply. So they went over, attacked him and put him in intensive care. Did they all get life? did they fook!

This country needs to introduce tougher more severe punishments for the knife carrying scum that walk the streets. The government should make an example of them and let them do some serious time inside.
