ZetecVan 2.0 Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 This month the site has been hit with a large bandwidth bill. Much larger than normal. So I've been looking at what is causing it. I found that some of you have very large animated avatars. One of them is 1.4meg in size! That has to load everytime someone loads up a new page with it on. Two avatars alone have eaten up over 8% of our allocated monthly bandwidth. So I have had to impose a 100kb maximum size for your avatars. I have also removed any avatars that are too large. If yours has disappeared, that is why. Sorry for having to do that, but it's something that we needed to do. You can still get some good avatars for way less than 100kb. Look at mine. Sexy as hell, and only 37kb. Mike
