and finally a little landscape pic!...

anyone able to give me a rough idea of how much that will set me back to fix?

also, if anyone see's a white van with a number plate MX55 VHL (luckily someone witnessed it and took some details) then give it a bloody good kickin, maybe a brick through a window?

how can i go about claiming from this cock gobbling bellend's insurance cos i'll be fooked if i'm going to pay!

rant over now!

You've got the registration and a witness. All you need to do is contact your insurers, giving them the details and let them sort it. You DID pay the extra for the legal expenses cover didn't you?

That should push out OK but you'll need a new rear bumper. £300 tops I'd have said as long as they can colourmatch the paint OK. Get it done sooner than later otherwise you'll get rot setting in.

You should deffo be able to claim on insurance. Did you get the witnesses details too? I did this in St Ives a few years ago ... I saw a stupid doris hit someone's car in a car park, get out and have a look, and then drive off so I took her number and left my details on the windscreen of the car that was hit.

The doris who was the victim gave my details to her insurance company and they contacted me to give a statement and the claim went through successfully because the victim contacted me a few months later to say thankyou

As for white van man :evil::evil::evil::evil::evil::evil:

I wouldn't recommend this, you do not want your car written off, even just for financial reasons. You current insurer might want all kinds of things before re insuring it, such as an engineer's report, even if it's only panel damage.

It's a bit of a worry what Mr D just said about the MID.....

just had a look its insured and according to the data its not a van

It looks bad, but it probably wouldn't be much bother to sort out. You could probably get much of that dent out with a wack from a soft mallet.

You wanna get your capper down to the bodyshop my cappers at and it be sorted in no time.

Someone done a hit and run on my capper once. I come home from work and noticed the rear bumper was hanging off and it had a small crease on the rear panel. There was bits of someones brake light all over the floor so some idiot had obviously backed into it.

Hmmmm, how to make friends and influence people

Anyway, back to the topic, shes not so bad man, some filler and paint...

I heard a huge bang on xmas day 1990, followed by screeching tyres and a car tearing off, when i looked out the window my superspurt was about 5 feet from where i parked it and a considerably different shape, never did find out who it was

That's not good :( I had someone drive up the back of my Capri in 2004 and the guy's insurance paid out for the repair  Good luck with the claim, at least you got a witness

talk about kickin you when your down! i'll just reserve judgement on your car till i see it!

when the cars clean, the lights look sweet, same colour as the body! and a bit of chrome is always nice in my opinion... each to their own!

cheers mate, nice one... can add that to the report! i hope since it's a large van it will belong to a company who would be more likely to pay out i think?
