Sorting out the lower rear 1/4's on my Capri, small engine service on the Granny and may try to get it in for an MOT on saturday morning.

 

Driving down to N-E England to pic up an interior for the Capri on sunday.

find somewhere to put speakers,fit spare wheel post and hopefully if postie is good enough to deliver my anti tramp bars :o to fit those as well. :D

hopefully if mr postman delivers my new lowered springs i will be fitting them other than that take the capri out and head for the stars

Do my brakes on the escort (drums off clean and adjust) and take back my old steering rack to the parts shop for the refund and also get hold of some very large exhaust rubber hoops to mount my new ashley exhaust in the middle :thumbsup:

was gonna pick up cappa front crossmember and bits, but there in march and im in april!!! :(

very productive start to week-end. so far today ive got my hands on 6 175/50/13's, a 2 door mk 2 cortina shell, lost a capri front end running gear, and just been offered a capri cross member :thumbsup::D also been driving about in the wet (lots of fun) and got a puncture and fixed it!!! poor escort looks like a van!! :sad:

I won't be happy until that shell is in your yard Glen. Did'nt get very far with the brakes. i did'nt have enough 19mm high tensile bolts and I was'nt happy with my brackets. Never mind the 260mm disc setup i have at the moment is working well and I have the parts list I need so I can get back on it as soon as i have them.

What do you think I am a machochist? I have been working in the 18" gap between the car and the garage wall (i can still move ......just). I had a quick measure to see if I could do a bias setup using the cortina pedals as well (not sure yet).

I just drove to Ipswich and picked up a genuine NOS RS X pack kit for £160! Well worth the three hour drive both ways! I think I might do another little dance! :dance:
