accord83 Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 6'6", 17 stone with a face like a scrapmans dog (I'm a pussy cat though ) John
surfingturnip Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 if they slag off your car then fook em do as you want to do, not as others want you to. Awesome looking car as well, jap engines may well be the new cossie soon
caprinerd Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 its upto the owner what he/she does to their motor, i like the race look, some like trailer queens its still old skool what ever gets done
geoffersmasher Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 very sorted motor shame idiots cant take there blinkers off
MexDan Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 The problem is there is a group of people who believe everything should be kept as it was when it was produced... same engines, wheels etc etc BUT they got to understand that its his car and he can do what he likes with it. If that was my car I would be fooking proud as he has obviously put in alot of work!! I think it looks the nuts... Why people can't just get it into their heads that not every car has to be the same is crazy... if every escort/ capri wotever was the same what would be the point???? Fooking bollox... gets right on my tits!!!
antz Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 said car JESUS CHRIST THATS STUNNING! credit is due there
over_head_cam Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Loving the ricer lump. Modding OSFs has been about using different bits from various motors since before they were Osfs I hate it too when small-dicked muppets can't just let you do your own thing without telling you (or their boyfriends) that your wheels are shit or it's sitting wrong, or the colour is naff or it's not shiny so its cack, ot it's got nos so you're a cheat or it's not got all it's interior so you're a cheat, or that's not the way I'd do it so it's gash or you shouldn't put your race car on a trailer, or or or......

over_head_cam Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 No, no really. I was thinking of some of the crappy comments from lots of people that I've heard.
surfingturnip Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 I want to spaceframe a mk3 corty estate and whack a Nissan SR20 turbo engine in it so I cant wait to be lynched
over_head_cam Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Go for it m8. Vive la differemce I think I might go for an austin 'B' seiries lump and trctor tyres. I haven't got a car though so I shall mostly be modifying myself
pauln Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 I want to spaceframe a mk3 corty estate and whack a Nissan SR20 turbo engine in it so I cant wait to be lynched Rope with noose on standby. Seriously I would like to see that. I'm with OHC when it comes to modding cars theres always more than one way to do it (and i get irritated being told theres only one way), you don't need a particular wheel or engine, what you do is build the car for yourself because you are the one who is going to enjoy driving it even if others don't get the point.

X-pack-Glyn Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 this is the reason im not doing anymore CCi events, they are terrible for this kinda thing, it ha to be shiny and rust doesnt seem to be tollerated at all, the round ones to that, i like cars that are street driven and used like they should be. CoC show is different though, we welcome ANY old ford any any condition so long a its driven we dont care, you should try it, get loads flock to CoC show now and its a totaly relaxed atmospere, very different from most other shows, there is not a hint of sniping at other peoples cars at all.
RFChris Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 I've noticed this for the first time with my 'S'. The notion of me changin the seats (to preserve the originals BTW), fitting a cage and some Superlites doesn not seem to go down well with people. As said a million times before, it's my fooking car, i shall do with it as i please. Yes, i know it's rare, but there is nothing being done to it which cannot be changed back. Fools....all of them. Chris
jed Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Well... i got an old vauxhall engine in me 105e and i dont give a toss what people think cos in reality it will blow there doors off cos its a 250bhp wpe xe so fuk them
mk1super Posted May 7, 2008 Author Report Posted May 7, 2008 Heard today off my mate that said escort was seen after show harrasing a rather well known local tuned saph cossie
Smudger105e Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 But a lot of it i people who think they know what they are talking about, but don't. The number of people at the NEC last year who said the Super Deluxe was not a 'proper' Anglia becuase of the bits that have been fitted, and the only non factory items are the Front fogs and the radio#!!
